WMI is implementing openSIS with Moodle integrated with Shibboleth user management system. They are self hosting the solution.

Ultraline, offers a full range of e-learning products and services using SCORM conformant LMS to engaging and effective courseware. They are recognized experts on SCORM, Section 508 and other on-line delivery technologies and standards.

Ultraline is using cloud hosted openSIS multilingual edition integrated with Sakai LMS for its SIS customers.

The AuTrain-Onota Public School is a small, rural, Preschool through Eighth Grade school located in Alger County, Deerton, Michigan.

Autrain is using a cloud hosted openSIS community edition.

The Bible Institute is designed to work with the local Church, to create an atmosphere in which not only take classes that will help them grow and mature spiritually, but also is a place where students will gain experience through outreach events and practical training.

The society operates 29 K-12 schools, colleges, technical and professional institutions throughout northwestern India and is well known for excellence in education.

Dr. Stya Paul, illustrious industrialist and philanthropist, who has dedicated his life to the pursuit of excellence in education, is the Founder Chairman of the Apeejay Education Society.

The society has chosen openSIS as their Student Management System and is deploying openSIS with Moodle to provide a hybrid of brick and mortar and on-line school for its students.

Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique (CSF) is the Francophone Education Authority of British Columbia, Canada. The francophone program is tailor-made for children with a Francophone background from at least one parent. Francophone schools allow their students to live, to learn and to develop the French language, and culture, and to be active participants in the francophone community.

CSF is using the multilingual version of openSIS pro with Active Directory integration and is self-hosting the system.

Nile Union Academy of Egypt is a Seventh-day Adventist boarding academy in the Middle East and North African region offering a 5 year program that provides an "American Equivalent High School Diploma".

NUA is using openSIS community edition with the Library module and is self-hosting the system.

Mother Caroline is a private learning environment for low-income middle school girls in grades 5-8 and their families. It has successfully reached hundreds of families of greatest need over the years. The Columbia School of English is an accredited English language school in Portland, Oregon. They offer certificates in Basic Proficiency, Communicative Proficiency, Workplace Proficiency, Academic Proficiency and Mastery. CSE is using a cloud hosed openSIS for their student information need.

Their individual needs are carefully assessed, understood, and met through the selective assignment of qualified, trustworthy and compassionate personnel.

SITTI is running openSIS + Moodle integrated product in the cloud.

The Center for Multilingual Multicultural Studies is located at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. CMMS provides high quality English language programs for international students and professionals, offers services that enhance research and instruction in language learning, and coordinates cultural programs that contribute to multicultural awareness and global education.

CMMS is running a custom version of openSIS Pro for Higher Ed on-premise.

Florida Fund for Minority Teachers Inc. (FFMT) is a minority teacher education scholars program, which is a collaborative performance-based scholarship program for African-American, Hispanic-American, Asian-American, and Native American students. The participants in the program include Florida's public community colleges and its public and private universities that have teacher education programs.

The annual amount of the Minority Teacher Education Scholarship is $4,000. Awards are only disbursed during the Fall and Spring semesters, in the amount of $2,000 per semester. Students may be eligible to receive the scholarship for up to two consecutive years.

FFMT is running a custom coded Scholarship Management System in the cloud.

ICON is running openSIS in the cloud with on-line registration for students. Its implementation of openSIS has the capability to generate Idaho State Reports mandated by the dept. of education in one click.

St. Vincent and Grenadines Community College

The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development has responsibility for primary and secondary education and provides support for tertiary education. The Ministry is also responsible for establishing policies, standards and for supervising early childhood education. The Ministry also has responsibility for human resource development excluding public officers which covers in addition private initiatives designed to assist in the development of the human stock.

The Townshend International School is a private internationalist school located in Hluboká nad Vltavou in the Czech Republic. The school was founded in 1992 is a Bahá'í inspired school. The school is named after the Irish scholar and former priest George Townshend.

WIS is a British standards school in Karachi, Pakistan. They were seeking a comprehensive web based student management solution. After evaluating several applications, the school board selected cloud hosted version of openSIS as the most suitable and flexible system for the school. Since openSIS is open source and is customizable for each instance, WIS management was particularly receptive. The fact that openSIS will be integrated to Moodle 2.0 in the Fall of 2010 was an added attraction for WIS.

Covenant Preparatory School is an independent, tuition-free middle school for boys from under-served families in the City of Hartford. The school provides a challenging and supportive learning environment, where motivated students of all faiths are offered an intellectual, cultural, physical and moral education.

LCA was looking for a cost effective student information system with strong parent communication features. openSIS with EasyCom parent notification system was an ideal solution for the school. LCA opted for the cloud hosted openSIS because they don’t want the hassle of maintenance and upkeep of the system.

Oregon State Hospital system was in the look out for a patient education system with a robust scheduling functionality. After going through an RFP process they selected a customized version of openSIS that fulfilled their requirements to the tee. It was possible because openSIS is open source and OS4ED is always willing to customize the system to fit a client’s specific need.

The Masdar Institute, Abu Dhabi is a private, not-for-profit, independent, research-driven institute developed with the support and cooperation of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The Institute offers Masters and (eventually) PhD programs in science and engineering disciplines, with a focus on advanced energy and sustainable technologies.

MIST wanted a customized version of a student information system that would fulfill their specific higher education requirement. OS4ED was able to customize openSIS with web based student application facility, applicant processing features and Active Directory integration for user maintenance.

Upward Bound is a college preparatory program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. It provides young students with the skills they need to be successful in college. Participants receive academic, personal and cultural enrichment to prepare them for higher education. The Upward Bound Program at South Plains College serves 50 students from six schools in Cochran, Hockley, Lamb, and Terry Counties. Upward Bound, a Trio Program fully funded by the US Department if Education, is a NO COST program to its participants.

Realizing that Focus SIS was not meeting their needs, South Plains College Upward Bound turned to openSIS to manage their students. They are using openSIS with the Discipline and EasyCom modules to manage and communicate with the parents and students who participate in their program each year. South Plains Upward Bound easily transitioned from Focus SIS to openSIS and has successfully completed another program year with no issues.

Adventist International Mission School (AIMS) in Sararubi, Thailand joins the openSIS family as our first international client. AIMS was seeking an affordable solution to replace the Rediker Administrators Plus student management system. Administrator Plus is a proprietary system running on proprietary software requiring licensing fees for Novell/Microsoft servers, Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase Database Server with workstations required to be Windows XP SP 2. Additional fees include client access licenses for Windows Server and possibly Microsoft SQL Server. AIMS stands to realize significant cost savings as it eliminates these additional costs over time and still enjoy the same functionality at a fraction of the total cost.

Summit needed a centralized SIS available via the web to manage its geographically disperse student population. The SIS had to fit into a very limited budget and have the flexibility to manage programs, degrees and courses.Summit had tried other open source SIS solutions only to find them to be buggy and unreliable. Additionally, the other solutions did not have the ability to manage programs and degrees.

After a recent district rezoning, PCS needed a web based student reservation with wizard guided workflows that took into account all of the rules associated with IEP’s, grandfather rights and sibling rights for enrollment. PCS needed a web based system with complex workflows to accommodate the IEP, grandfather and sibling rules associated with rezoning. The solution had to be simple and easy for parents and provide clear guidance on completing the reservation and enrollment.
