Consultative Sales Executives :

WORK LOCATION: Work from home. Live in any metro area with a major airport.


DESCRIPTION:

OS4ED Inc, develops, sells and implements several open source application software for the K-12 education market. Open Student Information System, popularly known as openSIS is our flagship product.

We are hiring consultative Sales Executives to drive new business and expand current accounts nationwide. The ideal candidates should have a strong record of success in consultative business-to-business selling in Education software sales. Must have good industry knowledge of available products and services and provider landscape. Existing relationships with school districts are a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sales Executive(s) will be responsible for the following

  • Targeting potential clients and expanding current accounts in assigned territory
  • Developing sales strategies and managing the quote and sales contract process
  • Demonstrate product and emphasizes features and benefits
  • Consult with potential clients to deliver "best fit" solution
  • Up-sale and Cross-Sale
  • Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing decision makers
  • Attend and network at business associations/organization events, industry trade shows and provide leads for business development efforts.

 EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+years work experience in consultative business-to-business selling in education industry
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a sales strategy and drive the sales process
  • Must have a documented history of sales achievement as well as breaking into new accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and drive toward results.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Technology tools usage and presentation skills required.

Compensation: Base Salary + commission - strong earning potential. Residual income for long term sales contracts

DESCRIPTION:


OS4ED Inc, develops, sells and implements several open source application software for the K-12 education market. Open Student Information System, popularly known as openSIS is our flagship product.

We are seeking to hire part-time Customer Support Specialists who strive for success and are committed to delighting our customers by providing support of openSIS.

Hours will be 20-30 hours per week, normally in four hour blocks. Must be flexible to work any four hour schedule from 8:00 am through 8:00 pm (EST) week days and possible four hour schedule on weekends and holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond promptly and thoroughly to support inquiries via telephone and live chat
  • Act as first point of contact for customer inquiries
  • Provide online demonstrations and educate customers on the features and customer portal resources available to enhance their use of openSIS
  • Independently resolve technical and customer support issues and escalate cases when appropriate
  • Provide valuable "front line" feedback on defects and enhancements to the Product Marketing and Engineering teams
  • Seek and recommend ideas to help cultivate the FAQ/Knowledge Base used by all customers and openSIS Support staff

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

  • Excellent customer service skills and great enthusiasm for helping customers
  • Must be an energetic "self-starter" with the ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, attention to detail and time management are a must
  • Previous experience in customer service/support environment
  • Competency in MS office and web browser environments

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IS A PLUS:

  • HTML coding and HTML design tool experience
  • Previous support experience with software applications
  • Web based email-marketing tools
